Welcome to The Arts Society Chiswick. Since the launch of our branch in 2015, we have grown to over 250 members. We are proud to be part of the cultural scene in Chiswick, but also in Hammersmith, where we meet, and other local neighbourhoods.

The Arts Society’s core belief is that the arts are essential to enriching people’s lives. For the past 50 years, it has been committed to opening the world of the arts for everyone, connecting people to the arts and to each other. The social aspect of membership is intrinsic in everything that we do.

We provide opportunities for members to get together to enjoy all aspects of the arts: at monthly lectures, on the 2nd Thursday of every month (except August and December), on tours, visits and events and at Special Interest Days. Our location means that we are lucky to be able to enjoy London and all it has to offer, but we also explore further afield both in the UK and overseas.

In addition, there are interesting opportunities to volunteer in a wide variety of conservation projects and in other arts-related work within the local community.

Do please explore our website to find out more about who we are and what we do and how you can join us.

Members may be interested in lectures offered by our neighbouring societies, The Arts Society Ealing and The Arts Society Richmond. Members attending other societies' lectures would have to pay their guest fee.  There are  also study days, courses and other events offered by The Arts Society Greater London Area which are open to all members.

Latest News......

We have reluctantly but realistically decided to suspend all Society lectures and visits until September. When possible lectures will be rescheduled. The Summer Party has also been cancelled. We will let you know as soon as normal service is resumed. Any advance payments made by members for visits will be reimbursed. We wish you a safe summer.

Our Society always welcomes new members - please visit the Joining Us page for full details. We are always happy to welcome back old members too!
